Week of Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27

This week you will learn about outlining, and we will begin to learn about the Great Depression. I will also check and grade your notes for the second time. Please conference to talk about your papers or the daily reading!

Monday, March 23, 2015 (45 minutes)

Due: I will check your notes again today, and you should have considerably MORE than you did 4 weeks ago.
Topic: Guest star Mrs. Lewis will tell you everything you need to know about the outline for your paper. 

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 673-677.

Tuesday, March 24, 2015 (50 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading. Info about how stock markets work.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 681 (Hoover and Hard Times)-686 (Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Launching of the New Deal).

Wednesday, March 25, 2015 (35 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of the reading.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 686-688 (The First Hundred Days).

Thursday, March 26, 2015 (50 minutes)

Topic: We will listen to Roosevelt's First Inaugural Address and discuss it in class.

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 688-692.  Please pay close attention to the chart on p. 690 and the graphs on p. 691.

Friday, March 27, 2015 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of reading. 

Homework:Work on your papers.
