This week we will finish up our look at recent history and then jump back approximately 260 years to explore the role of slavery in the American colonies, look at the conflict between white colonists and Native Americans, and learn a little bit about the role America played in the wars and economy of Europe.

Friday, September 5, 2014 (45 minutes)

Topic: Discussion of reading. 

Homework: Read AP&AN pp. 75 (Slaving Voyages)-76 (Slavery in North America); 79 (Slave Resistance)-(Imperial Reorganization). You will also need to finish the primary documents about the Middle Passage for Monday.
