Week of Monday, November 10 through Friday, November 14


Well, this is it.  Thank you for your hard work during the past 12 weeks.  I hope that you have found this class to be educational. Make sure to finish up the term as strongly as possible.  Also, if you chose to do the Supreme Court Justice bio paper, it is due by 4pm on Friday. 


Monday, November 10, 2014 (45 min)


Due: Amicus briefs for non-speaking lawyers.

Topic:  Time in class to prepare for simulation.

Homework: Work on simulation.  Judges need to read the Amicus briefs and be ready to discuss them tomorrow. 

 

Tuesday, November 11, 2014 (50 min)

Topic: The Judges and I will discuss the Amicus briefs.  Legal teams will continue to prepare.
Homework: Keep working.  Final arguments will be rehearsed in class tomorrow.
 

Wednesday, November 12, 2014 (45 min)

Topic: Both legal teams will rehearse their arguments in front of me in class today.

Thursday, November 13, 2014 (50 min)

Topic: The final simulation of the term will take place today.
Homework: Write feedback for the simulation; Judges will write their opinions.

Friday, November 14, 2014 (25 min)

Topic: Course evaluation forms and final goodbyes.

Homework: None. Good luck on your exams and final projects!
